Our all-inclusive Shopping Suite Software gives you the management and control of your Online Internet Sales and Inventory.  Features included in our Shopping Suite –

  • Secure On-Line Ordering – Gaslight Media applies for a Thawte Secured Certificate for your domain name (www address), giving your customers peace of mind that their Online Internet transactions are encrypted and secured.
  • Registered Customers and Guest Features - The Registered Customer feature of the Shopping Suite has many flexible features for your Customers.  These include:
    • A personalized address book that allows your customers to shop and have gifts sent to their special someone, which can include a personalized gift message and special instructions.
    • Add items to their shopping cart, and have them saved for a later checkout.
    • Sign up for your Online Newsletters and Special Announcements.  With the Customer Contact Database - Your customers can request additional information to be sent to them by your business via email.
    • Promotions – The shop owner can add promotional codes, which allows customers who have the code to automatically receive that special discount on their order. Another feature of the Promotions section is the shop owner can specify shipping date requirements for products that need to be shipped within a certain time frame (such as the holidays).  Customers can select this feature and ensure themselves of a timely delivery.
    • Check the status of their order shipment via the UPS Tracking database that is integrated into their Registered User account.

Shop Administration - Your Shopping Suite gives you complete management of your online inventory and customer information.  This includes:

  • Creating categories/departments for your product line and creating subcategories under those main departments. You can easily add products to these categories, which includes their text descriptions, image and different options that pertain to that particular product.  The Options Feature allows you to list colors, sizes, prices, etc., for your products. 
  • Flag products as "New", "Special", or “Sale” and it will automatically create a new category and an appropriate label next to each item for your customers convenience.
  • Inventory Report - You can view your current online inventory with the click of a mouse, giving you an at a glance report to make changing the price or status of a product extremely fast and efficient.
  • Customer Contact Database – when customers fill out your online contact form or becomes a registered user in the Shopping Suite, their information is automatically saved into this database, enhancing your future marketing and advertising opportunities.  The data can be used to send the online newsletter, or create mailing labels to send a snail mail promotion highlighting your business.
  • Retail Newsletter – By using the customer contact database, you can send your customers an email through the database application to highlight or announce your online retail newsletter.  This is a great way to advertise and market your business, utilizing customers email addresses that have requested that you to keep them informed of new information or products. 
  • UPS Tracking – With our UPS Shipping Integration, you can utilize their database system to calculate shipping costs for a customers order based upon the weight and destination.  The customer will have the option of selecting their preferred method of shipping (overnight, 2nd day, etc.) based upon the automatic return result of the shipping costs.  When the customers package has shipped you can add the tracking number to the order record, allowing the customer to check the status of their package in their registered user account in your online Shopping Suite .
  • A state of the art navigation system can be configured into your online Shopping Suite to give the management and flexibility of how you would like your customers to view your categories/department lines.  Customers can drill down three layers deep to find that special product, and once they reviewed (or put it in their shopping cart), they can follow the navigation line items to get back to where they started.  This type of flexibility allows you to customize your online Shopping Suite for a truly unique layout.  The customized programming provides dynamic fly-out navigation allowing a “at a glance” view of the sub-category items that have been added - Customers can place their mouse over the category and the subcategories will automatically appear, creating a virtual directory of your entire product line.
  • Cross-Selling and Marketing of Products - Cross selling will give the customers the chance to purchase items related to the ones they just placed in their cart or reviewed in a category. For example, a selection into your Specialty Clothing or Collectibles category might offer an opportunity to promote the perfect pair of shoes or accessory to go with that product!
  • Shipping Flags – For businesses that have an inventory list that falls into a special category of shipping requirements, the enhanced shipping status flags give you the ability to accurately charge for the shipping of those items by flagging their individual need with the product information.  This then gives the customer the knowledge up front as to how the particular product of interest will be handled and charged for.
