Stafford's Hospitality
We were honored to continue our long standing relationship with Stafford's Hospitality in re-designing their Web site, staffords.com. The overall objective of the Web site redesign for staffords.com was to bring the multiple properties and business ventures of Stafford's Hospitality under a single, all encompassing corporate Web site. A secondary, but very important objective, was to build a web site structure that is both intuitive and easy to use for new and past visitors to staffords.com.
Existing applications were upgraded with this revamp:
- Updated Gaslight Media Toolbox to maintain all areas of the Web site, link entire sections to the home page with a single click, and create short URL's for any of the sections of the Web site.
- Events Calendar for public events, as well as a complete InTRAnet calendar database for remote property event management.
- Photo Gallery Database – this application was updated to automatically re-size each image that had been uploaded to a constrained thumbnail size, and display the gallery in a Thickbox format.
New applications and features that have been added to the Web site:
- The GLM Communicator – Utilizing this powerful new application from Gaslight Media, Stafford's is now in control of managing their newsletter campaigns and get the in depth reporting the need to successfully launch these campaigns.
- Coupons & Promotions – With this application Stafford's can easily upload their uniquely branded “Web Discounts” to the Web site, for guests both old and new to take advantage of the savings offered online.
- Search the Site – using Google technology you can now easily find what you are looking for on staffords.com

Browse the Lodging section of the Web site and view Stafford's two distinct lodging properties, The Perry Hotel, located in the heart of Petoskey’s Downtown district, and Stafford's flagship property, Stafford's Bay View Inn located 2 miles north of Bay View.
In the Dining section of the web site, you will find Stafford’s Pier Restaurant, celebrating the maritime heritage of beautiful Harbor Springs offering true waterfront dining, while The Weathervane Restaurant in Charlevoix offers signature and regional cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere and is Charlevoix’s only true waterfront dining, nestled along the busy Pine River Channel in downtown Charlevoix.
