Crooked Tree Arts Center

Gaslight Media has recently developed a new online scheduling application for Crooked Tree Arts Center Web site. This application completely automates the scheduling and signup process for their docent gallery tours that Crooked Tree Arts Center has established for teachers to bring their students for art exhibitions and "hands-on" art projects.

Located in the Teacher�s Connection section of the Crooked Tree Arts Center Web site, the online scheduling application allows local school teachers to:

• Browse upcoming art exhibits by the calendar schedule.
• If the teacher is interested in a docent tour of an art exhibit, he/she can easily view what timeslots for the exhibit are still available.
• Online Sign-up - the calendar gives the teacher the ability to select the date/timeslot of their choice, and submit their request with the online form to automatically reserve that date and timeslot.
• A confirmation email is generated from the Crooked Tree Arts Center web server and sent to the teachers email address, giving them the assurance that their planned field trip is secured.
• The calendar also makes available to the teacher the "Reserved" slot - helping to coordinate efforts with other teachers and schools.

The administration of the online scheduling application allows Crooked Tree Arts Center to have full control over the scheduling calendar. Not only can this application generate PDF reports of the calendar that the staff can print and have ready at all times but it also tremendously reduces the man-hours of having the staff of Crooked Tree Arts Center manually enter each teacher in a time slot for each exhibit.
