Central States Rotary Youth Exchange

The Central States Rotary Youth Exchange is a Rotary International organization that provides thousands of high school students with the opportunity to study abroad for one year enabling them to experience other cultures.

The new CSYRE Web site is powered by our award-winning content management system , The Gaslight Media Toolbox. This allows the volunteers of CSYRE to easily update their Web site from any of their offices in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and the southern part of Ontario, Canada. Taking this approach for their Web site development ensured that the volunteers and admin staff that are located in different parts of the country could manage their web site without using difficult page-layout software that has to be installed on a single computer at each of their locations, nor having someone on staff be trained on a specific software program in order to keep their web site current with the latest information they have available.

The new Web site also includes Gaslight Media�s Contacts Database, which gives CSYRE the ability to keep all their member�s information in a single database on the Internet allowing CSYRE to send the members e-newsletters. The CSYRE also has the ability to post meeting minutes, volunteer directories, etc to a private area of the Web site, requiring a username and password to access using Gaslight Media�s Members Only application. Again, an extremely powerful tool for associations or organizations that are looking to keep their membership current with information, and using the Internet as an inexpensive resource to keep the communication up to date and available 24/7.
