Otsego County
With the development of this Web site, it was the mission of Otsego County to develop a Web site that will become the central resource of information for the citizens, businesses and employees of the county using this interactive medium, taking the county to the next level of communication. Using our custom applications and useability standards, we have incorporated multiple online features, to interact and engage the visitors to the county Web site, providing a wealth of information and services including:
- Secured area for all of the county's department managers to log in and access their own area of the Web site to update and maintain
- Multiple Online Forms for County Services including Property Transfer Affidavit, Application for Street Address and Principle Residence Exemption form
- Online Employment Opportunities Database that stores all applications in an administration area as well as a PDF document for the county to print and have on file
- Online Polling Application
- Dynamic Forms Application for creating forms and surveys
- Gaslight Media Toolbox with a "Quick Links" feature to highlight those areas of interest most requested by the citizens/visitors to the Web Site
Gaslight Media was also contracted by the county to install and configure 2 Web cameras featured on the site. Each camera provides a unique point of view from the county building into the quaint downtown district of Gaylord Michigan.
