Walloon Lake Association
We recently had the opportunity to work with this long time client of ours, the Walloon Lake Association (WLA) and the Walloon Lake Trust and Conservancy (WLTC) to revamp their Web site walloon.org. Although very separate organizations, they share many common goals with the most important being: preserve, protect and defend the quality, safety and natural beauty of Walloon Lake and its watershed.
The goal for us in this revamp was developing a user focused Web site, with an emphasis on the the common elements for both organizations: Walloon Lake. The resulting Web site now features a simplified site structure that will help the visitor discover each organization as they relate to the lake.
Site administrators of walloon.org manage their content with several new applications including a Gaslight Media Toolbox, Photo Gallery, Home Page Slide Show application, and contact database with HTML newsletter capabilities. With these improved site management capabilities, the organization continues to manage their Web site in a timely manner, keeping the latest news and events posted, along with current information their members should be kept aware of.
