Thunder Bay Golf & RV Resort in Hillman, Michigan, offers a variety of recreation and entertainment. The challenge in developing this Web site was where to start.

Offering elk viewing with gourmet dinners, a 18-hole golf course, state of the art RV park, quilters retreats, velvet elk products, real estate and murder mystery weekends, Thunder Bay Resort came to Gaslight Media to help create a Web site that they could maintain themselves, but needing the expertise of search engine optimization and consulting to help market their business on the Internet.

This initial phase of development included creating a customized Toolbox for Thunder Bay to manage the multitude of web pages, images and content they have available for their visitors. They also wanted to capture their visitor contacts by using a Contact Database with html E-newsletter application. They have incorporated the Gaslight Media Travel Reservation System and a customized gift certificate application to further their revenue by doing business on the Web.

Our events calendar gives them the ability to announce their events on the home page and throughout their Web site navigation structure, as well as area events they find visitors will enjoy.

Thunder Bay Resort had DVD movies that were created for them, in which we converted to Real Media, Windows Media and Quicktime movies for their visitors to enjoy. Their virtual tours have also been added to the Web site, giving visitors the ability to experience Thunder Bay Resort from the comfort of their home.
