Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum
The Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society has been a client of ours for several years. It was founded in 1978 by a group of divers, teachers, and educators to commence exploration of historic shipwrecks in eastern Lake Superior, near Whitefish Point in Michigan’s scenic Upper Peninsula. Today, this non-profit organization operates two museum sites on historic properties: The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Whitefish Point Light Station, Whitefish Point; and the U.S. Weather Bureau Building, Soo Locks Park, Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan.
We are pleased to announce the revamp of the Web site which incorporates several application upgrades that continue to provide them with the ability to efficiently manage the Web site. Using the new Gaslight Media Toolbox, the society is able to maintain all areas of their site. The Ecommerce Suite upgrade enabled many new features that the GLSHS can use to their advantage, such as cross promotion of products, featured items on the home page and complete inventory management.
The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum has continued to use the Online Reservation System as part of their interactive web site features. Visitors can now make a reservation online to stay at the US Coast Guard Crews Quarters at the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum.
